Just moved back to Topeka. Getting adjusted back to Kansas after living in Los Angeles for 2 years. Moved back to Kansas to live closer to my family. I'm a mass media major that is quite possibly the biggest nerd ever...but people like that. I can talk to anyone about anything for any amount of time...basically I like to talk. I do my best to be a good guy, and that sometimes tends to come back against me. I guess if there is anything else...ask.

I'm a bit of a character....but I like to think of it more as being unique. I love walking/dancing in the rain. I love fall because you can sleep with your windows open. I think that there is a great need for a sarcasm font. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. Homeless people make my heart hurt. I hate working out but i do it anyway (got stay healthy). I really want to get into Rock climbing...but there aren't very many places to do that here. I have some tattoos....pass your judgments accordingly, but they are on my body, not yours so don't worry about it... :) I have wonderful friends that I would do anything for because I believe that loyalty is pretty important. I hate wearing shoes and would be barefoot all the time if I could. And i love being outside all the time. I love sports, mainly college sports.... I love college basketball. GO KU... I love learning about different cultures and at am well on my way to traveling the world to learn about them. I can be a total goofball sometimes but I know when to buckle down! :) Iâ??m stubborn. Well to start out I am 25 years old and have lived in Topeka most my life. I heard once that everything you can say someone else has already said it and said it better! I don't know if that's true but this Oscar Wilde quote pretty much sums up my life. Let's see... I just turned 23 which makes me extremely anxious to see what great things are going to happen this year but also extremely nervous that Jim Carrey might come and kill me.(You probably won't get that unless you've seen The Number 23, and if you haven't sorry for the spoiler.) These things are seriously tedious so I'm not going to put much more here besides the fact that it would also probably be seriously redundant since I still have to fill out... My family and friends are my everything, I do what i can for them and I spend majority of my time with them when I'm not working. With my friends, we don't have dull moments. We're always doing something fun and entertaining, playing all sorts of games. We can turn the simplest things into dirty sexual innuendos. I'm a sarcastic dry sense of humor person most of the time. Right now I only have my ears pierced(the once) and my tongue pierced... I want more piercings and a few tattoos when I get the money. I can be random and off the walls... and not make sense some days.. But I do my best to keep my act on one road and together.. I've never been one to talk about myself, so this may be awkward.I realized along time ago that most people don't get my jokes. I'm into sciences of any kind. I'm the type of person who will read things and retain them like I read the book/article/news clip 50 times. I was at a networking event the other day and an Opthalmologist came up to me to try and convince me to get rid of my glasses and go with Lasik. (I politely declined...) ...but anyhow - it was kind of neat to be able to talk about things that she dealt with on a daily basis and understand what she was saying.

I'm super into space science. I took some astronomy/space science classes during my undergrad - and REALLY wish I could discipline myself enough to go for a Masters/PhD and work for NASA on extrasolar probes. Its still on the to-do list :)

I was in band - I played percussion. I think the fact that my left side of my brain is so abused by my right makes me a horrible musician - but I can handle rythm like nobodys business. On the side for extra cash I'm a DJ/host for Budweiser's Extreme Team Trivia, amongst other things like private parties, weddings, random friend gatherings... I can play the piano though!

I don't play videogames as much as I'd like - but I'm picky. I think that most media - be it games, music, movies, or art - is becoming more and more trite as people go along. I can't get into things that I view as shallow - including people... Well... I won't say that. Evaluations of ones self has never been my forte. It has been my experience thus far in my life that your actions speak volumes above what one can say. However somethings I do know are very much apart of who I am and what I'm am about would have to be that I am a very open-minded individual who definitely doesnâ??t read into things at first glance. Nothing usually is what it appears to be. More importantly Iâ??m a person of integrityâ?¦ I donâ??t like promising things that I know are above what I can keep to or accomplish and in return I expect that from others. I like to be articulate and I try very hard to say what I mean and mean what I say. Vocabulary actually is Important to me because itâ??s the basis of being able to convey what you are trying to say. So not to be blunt, if you are the kind of individual who likes to use the word Like improperly every other word this is like saying UM to meâ?¦ and more than likely I will point it out to you. The only other thing I can think of right now is I try very hard to be as cultured as possible in every sense. From food to music to just spending time with other cultures to experience it as completely as I can. My favorite memory thus far would have to be the summer I spent in Norway with the most wonderful family Iâ??ve ever encountered. They broadened my view of life more than I thought I would ever have the opportunity of having. I want to go back as Soon as I can. Itâ??s sad to say that if you donâ??t speak Norwegian you lose it or at least in my case I did lol I love life and want to experience as much as I can and not limit myself to any set box society tells you that you have to mold to. Lastly, I hate being underestimated/ misunderstood. It's one of my Biggest pet peeves along with people being close-minded. Be Real~

Iâ??d like to meet someone honest, intelligent, funny, and confident. Someone that knows what he wants and isnâ??t afraid to go after it. I am honest to a fault, fiercely loyal, and my friends think Iâ??m hilarious. I am a simple girl and have never been accused of being â??high maintenance.â?? I say what I mean and mean what I say. I think most people are surprised by my directness but if you can get used to it I think youâ??ll appreciate it. My friends know they can ask me anything and get the absolute honest answer. Some, most actually, of those friends are male. My man needs to trust that I have good judgment in my friends and outside relationships that I will not disrespect our relationship, that I choose to surround myself with people that will not disrespect our relationship, and that if someone does disrespect me, my partner, or my relationship with my partner that I will honor my relationship above all else and end the friendship. I will not, under any circumstances, turn my back on my friends. If they are truly a friend then that relationship is important to me and I will maintain it to the best of my ability without any threat to my partner or his security in our relationship.

I leave for basic training January 11, 2009 for Ft. Knox, Kentucky, will be there for the better part of 3 months, come back home for a week, then go to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma for AIT (Advanced Individual Training). That will put me over till mid August then I get assigned to my somewhat permanent base.
